i had this on both on my eyes diff times and i had a gas bubble in my right eye . talk about pain it was soooo painful i had this done 10 years ago or so and im 33 now. this was cause by diabetes

Wow, I had this procedure done; except the Doc fixed my tear with cryo instead of a laser. Tho I didn’t realize that my conjunctiva was cut then sewn back together like that. My tear was due to a racketball straight to the eyeball; always wear your safety goggles kids!

This was so helpful to see. I had the surgery and just couldn’t work out exactly how the proceedure worked. Now I understand and feel so much better.

how oftn do they make errors or mistakes when doing this? Damn you sure got to have alot of guts to watch this. Hope mine was the exception to the rule; My scleral buckle hurt like hell one hour into it, damn. I had to stay out of work 3 months & take tylenol for 4 months several times a day, it was really hell!

by the way the music sure as hell doesn’t go with what’s going on in the video…I got a sudden urger to go fox hunting….some blood sure does make me queasy….God Bless these doctors, its amazing how they frikkin do this. Has anyone had this surgery and not had major pain for like a year? Mine was really hellish, I kind of wish I didn’t have it but I’d be totally blind of I went with my gut feeling.

interesting video! i had a schleral buckle, vitrectomy, laser, and a gas bubble all done on my eyes for retinal detachment. i have retinopathy of prematurity. it’s neat to see how they do the surgery.

Been having problems with my eyes lots of floaters, and stuff going to see the optomoligist wednesday! This is gross!

Had the same surgery. Had no idea this is what happend. scary
